To surrender is to trust completely……..
Surrendering can be a difficult concept to grasp, as it is often associated with weakness or defeat. We need expand our own awareness and perception and know that with absolute certainty that surrendering can be the most powerful act of courage and strength.
To surrender means to give up control or resistance in a particular situation. It could be surrendering to a difficult emotion or circumstance, or letting go of a relationship or belief that no longer serves us. Surrendering requires us to simply meet ourselves where we are in this moment and to accept things as they are.
Surrendering can be the scariest thing in the world because it involves uncertainty and the possibility of loss. However, it can also be liberating because it allows us to release ourselves from the burden of trying to control every aspect of our lives. Surrendering can free up mental and emotional space, allowing us to focus on what truly matters.
When we surrender, this can also bring about unexpected opportunities and positive changes. We create the space for new possibilities to emerge. It is often in our moments of surrender that we receive guidance, inspiration, and insight.
Surrendering can be an act of self-compassion, to acknowledge that we are not perfect and that we don't have all the answers. We allow ourselves to be vulnerable and ask for help when we need it. Now, that one for me has been the hardest to learn.
Surrendering can be a powerful act of courage and strength, free up mental and emotional space, create new opportunities, and be an act of self-compassion. So, the next time you find yourself struggling to control a situation, consider surrendering instead.
For me, SURRENDERING, has been the most powerful act of unconditional love for who I am and what I am here to do.
